How I Turned Being A Wedding Ceremony Officiant Into A Web Business

About a decade ago I was on a book tour with a pharmaceutical research scientist. From our time waiting for planes, trains and rental cars, she knew that I was an ordained non-denominational minister.

A few years after the tour, Kate rang me up and invited me to write and officiate her wedding ceremony experience. It would take place at her family's farm in New York state. After the ceremony, which included a cow, I realized that this was the work meant for me.

As word of mouth spread and my business started, I needed a website.

"Luck to me is ... realizing what is opportunity and what isn't." Lucille Ball

Other business people told me they had free sites from their Internet providers. They told me that when they handed out business cards or gave someone who phoned them the web address, then people went to their sites. Otherwise, there was no way they got found on the Web.

An acquaintance referred me to a relative going to college who knew html coding. The person could make me a website that was a blog, but not any follow-up support help. And I'd have to get plug-ins installed when I wanted to do something.

I had a couple of frustrating false starts that took a lot of time, effort, resources.

How I Started My Wedding Ceremony Site

My site-building frustrations sent me hunting the web for a better way. Also, I spoke with many small business owners at networking events. They all had the same sad - and sometimes costly - website stories to share.

Somehow, I don't even remember how, I stumbled upon SBI - that's short for Site Build It. I came to discover it helps non-technical people just like me - with a skill, passion or hobby - turn it into a viable online business. Surprisingly, I came to realize that almost any topic can make money with a website. Which is exactly what I wanted and needed.

Build a website?
Could I do this?

You need no programming skills or web design knowledge, no business and no product to sell. Just bring your brain and motivation. SBI has all the tools you need, and they take you by the hand and teach you step-by-step how to use everything.

They help you find the perfect topic for your site, to build it, to get traffic to it, and then they even teach you how to make money with it, no matter what it is about!

I built this website using SBI, and if I can do it, anyone can do it.

You can get an idea of how it works by taking a look at the Video Tour. If you're in a hurry, take the Quick Tour.

While you're looking, you can see hundreds of successful SBI web sites  built by regular people like you and me. And all these sites are in the top 1 percent of the most successful sites on the worldwide web.

And the topics? It's staggering to see the wide variety of topics people have turned into profitable websites with SBI.

Yes, in the beginning this is a lot of work. But keep in mind that doing something you love never feels like work. And you can do it in your spare time. You set the pace. And it's a lot of fun, too.

The main thing is, it's totally risk free. SBI has a full money back guarantee. They're happy for you to try it out to see how you like it.

How Do I Make Money?

This is such a popular question among others, that I wrote another page for you.

I have the best work in the world. Every day I am blessed to write about the love couples share. I create new families with each custom, legal wedding ceremony. They send me photos as their families grow.

And people email me to tell me they wish they could do something too, like: escape the drudgery of cubicle jobs ... make a difference in the world ... do what they have dreamed of doing ...

What are you waiting for? Try Solo Build It because if I can do this, you can!
